Dear Friends,

We have missed you!

This weekend, we re-open on Saturday 4th July, 4.00 - 8.00pm and again on Sunday 5th July from 12.30 to 5.00 pm. This week, could you pre-order your food? Special weekend offer, 15 per person, main + dessert.

We will review this after the weekend and publish our opening times for the following week in due course although please note that we do not anticipate opening on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays for the foreseeable future.

We really look forward to welcoming you back but please, no handshakes, hugs or kisses!

To try to keep us all safe, we are doing our best to work within the Government Guidelines and ask you, please, to accept these strange changes - they are the new "temporary" until we all get through this crisis and back to the old "normal"!

The Strange Changes …

First of all, if you feel unwell, or have any symptoms remotely connected to Covid-19 (a new, continuous cough, a high temperature or a loss of taste or smell) we would respectfully ask you to save your visit for another day. Thank you.

Tables are only available for food in the rear garden and must be booked in advance. The tables are non-smoking (but a smoking area is available.)

The Government guidelines state that only people from two households may share a table. Groups of up to six people from different households may sit/stand together but only if they maintain social distancing and the guidelines also ask us to remind customers accompanied by children that they are responsible for them at all times.

The Government guidelines also ask us to keep contact details of Customers for 21 days, in case the NHS need these for contact tracing.  Please comply with this.

We will be using disposable crockery, cutlery and plastic glasses. If you would prefer to bring your own and transfer your food or drinks, you are very welcome to do so, (but please don't forget to take them home!)

There is NO indoor seating and access to the Pub is only for use of the toilets. There are signs explaining the safe way we have designed for you to "pop to the loo".

Please don't stand at the garden bar. If you go to the bar for drinks, please take them back to your table. Please pay contactless - cash is a dirty word, literally.

May we assure you that we have carried out a COVID-19 risk assessment, implemented the findings and we have scrupulous handwashing and hygiene procedures in place. We have lots of hand sanitizer for you too.

We hope these "strange changes" reassure you that we are doing everything possible to keep us all safe.

We look forward to seeing you again after 105 days!

Kind regards,

Lynda, Gary & Josh.   SEE THE MENU
